I thank God for giving me another opportunity to write to you on this topic. There is this confusing thing that spinsters do. How a spinster (lady) can take herself to a red blooded man’s house and passes a night in his place and actually lying on the same bed with him and when he attempts touching her, she tells him ‘NO SEX’. Are you for real?   Are you not a confused being?
         For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthian 6:20
You might say, ‘’I am allowed to do anything’’ but not everything is good for you. And even though, must you become a slave to that thing. Run form sexual sin. 

A decent spinster (male) shouldn’t ask you to come pass the night at his place immediately he meet you for the first time, or even when you guys are into a relationship. A man’s house is not the appropriate place for a date, unless the two of you are deceiving yourselves. Spinster (ladies) stops putting the cart before the horse when it comes to dating, except you are desperate and desperate act end up becoming a bad news. Are you desperate to get married? Are your parents forcing you to settle down? Watch it before you end up in a tight corner.

Some spinster (ladies) can’t even realize when a man wants them for play or for show up. All the time they will carry their bags to the man’s house, why on earth are you fooling yourself? Please try and give yourself a little respect that will help you personality. Some have already starts playing  a wife role!, why on earth are you deceiving yourself?
My wonderful advice to you this minute is to fear God with your bodies and the way you think. Don’t think like people that don’t know where they are coming from and where they are going. Everything you do, you will give record to your children and your family. Please glorify God with your body because you are bought with a very high price.

TASTE SEX AND FALL

 Greetings,                             

  Am so excited to share this topic with singles, TASTE SEX AND FALL. A lot of singles have made the mistakes of tasting sex before time. Some are regretting it now because that one act has destroyed their lives. The moment you have sex when is not the right time, you are naked and clothed with spiritual shame.

 1 Corinthian 10:8 we must not be guilty of sexual immorality, as some of them were and in one day 23,000 of them fell dead.

There was a lady that was in a relationship with a brother, they were engaged. It was rosy and it looked like a friendship made in heaven.  However, the devil came knocking: the brother asked her for sex. Sister sade believing that the relationship was altar bound, consented. Months later, the lady became pregnant ! They were both confused. The lady was in dilemma. The excitement of sex was gone !  “what do we do now. How do we face our pastor and our converts? After days of agonizing, trading blames, confusion and midnight tears, comes the bombshell from Sade’s lover : “Sorry sis, I can’t stand the shame and the humiliation. This thing(pointing to her stomach) must be aborted.!” .Her world fell apart. Few days later, Brother Philip got an upper hand, sister Sade went for the abortion. The result was fatal :  She lost her place in God’s presence,  she started bleeding profusely and to add to this , our beloved bro. Philip called off the relationship!!!

 God in his infinite mercy put an end to her bleeding. The end story is that the brother did not marry her. Today, the brother is married while the sister  is still single!

Sex before marriage is the beginning of single downfall.. This ‘food’ called sex is not for those of us that are not married.  It’s dangerous to our health and  it brings us to nothing. I pity the foolish ones who says  sex makes relationship last. How can it last when both of you don’t have respect for your bodies and for the almighty God that created it.

I have a word for the singles who are facing  a situation whereby  a guy says  he is not interested in you  because you didn't have sex with him, or a sister says she is  not interested in you because she can’t stay with a boring brother’’! Don’t be disturbed by those words because he or she has helped you from falling into the wrought of God. If you get yourself involved in sex before time, your case might be worse than that of the sister Sade’s  case. Same goes for the brothers too.

 There are earthly punishment for getting involved in sex before time and heavenly punishment too. We all too familiar with the story of  Samson in the bible. He traded his anointing and calling for sex.The prize was too expensive .He lost his physical and spiritual eyes and ended up in the camp of his enemies-powerless and humiliated. Thank God for God’s mercy that gave him a second chance. Like Samson, Some singles have lost their most precious gift for sex and some are struggling today because of the wrong man and woman they had sex with before time. I want to appeal to singles that are out there, if you are still single and you can’t keep yourself, go and marry.

 1corinthian 7:9 admonishes that if you can’t control yourselves, you should go ahead and marry. It’s better to marry than to burn in lust. Run from sexual sins! No other sin affects the body as sex does. Sexual immorality is a sin against your own body. For God has bought you with a high prize.

ME AND MY ATTITUDE

Dear singles,

It is my pleasure to write to you on attitude because it is what will determine whether you will get to the top or not. It is what will determine if you will be successful or not. It is also what determines if you can get the man/woman of your dream or not although this should not be a determining factor as to why you should aspire to have a good attitude. A good attitude is one to be desired at all times in you pursuit of becoming a better person and not because of what you would get in return.

There was this lady a graduate; she was going for an interview so she boarded a bus and the driver stop on the way to pick another passenger which happened to be a man, as he was entering the bus he stepped on the lady mistakenly. The lady started insulting the man but the man kept on apologising to her but she continued calling the man all sort of names, after a while she stopped. When she got to the office, where she was to be interviewed, she spoke to the receptionist and she was asked to sit down. When it was her turn, she walks into the office. Guess who she saw? She saw the man that she had been insulting in the bus sitting in the office. He was the interviewer. What do you think happened to the lady?

Most singles today, are still single because of their attitude. Many have been on the same level because their attitude has kept them there. If your certificate takes you to the top, attitude keeps you there. I know of someone who was sacked due to her attitude in the workplace. For those that are due for marriage you need the right attitude to bring the right one to you.Don’t use your bad attitude to chase him/her away. This is how you would know if your attitude needs adjustments – Can you confidently say you would love to marry yourself? If the answer is no, then you would have to work on your attitude.

Beauty can take you to the top but it cannot keep you there.If you think it will, how long do you think it will last?  The purpose of this article today is for you to have a better home and to fulfil your dreams. Attitude helps you to keep your spouse and also helps your spouse to love you.

There is still time to work on those bad attitudes that you think can be a hindrance to your success. Some Ladies will say to themselves I am very beautiful so I will get a man of my dreams. Some guys will say I am very handsome I can get any woman I want. When you get her your attitude determines whether or not if it will lead to marriage or if he/she will remain with you.

We can make up our face but we cannot make up our attitude.Don’t let your bad attitude destroy you but destroy your bad attitude.

SINGLE WITH A VISION

Dear Singles,

Today I am going to be talking to you about being single with a vision. It is very important that as a single lady/man you envision the kind of marriage that you would like to have. Some ladies go into marriage thinking my husband must cheat on me. That is a wrong mindset to have about marriage.

You need to envision the kind of children you want (godly children). You need to envision the kind of husband you would have (A godly husband). You need to envision your home (A home filled with laughter, peace and joy).  The Lord speaking to his servant in Habakkuk 2:2 said

"...Write the Vision and make it plain on tablets so that he may run who reads"

What vision do you have about marriage? While growing up did you see the men around you beat their wives and now you think your husband must also beat you. As a man did you grow up watching your mother insult your father and you think it must be the same way every woman must treat her husband. Then you thought wrong. Now is the time to have a picture of what your marriage should be like from God's word.

We would talk more on how Christ expects the husband to love the wife and how the wife is expected to reciprocate in subsequent posts. It will be nice if we have singles with visions.

Ninety percent of singles out there don't know God's divine plan for them in marriage. They don't know the kind of marriage they should have or the kind of spouse that God expects them to have. Today I charge you to spend time in God's presence so as to know the heart of the father for you! Know how much God loves you and that way you won't settle for less and you would know his perfect will when he/she shows up.

CELEBRATE YOURSELF

                                                                                 

Dear Singles,

The period of singleness is a period to celebrate yourself. It is a time to invest in yourself and to discover who you really are and where you are going in life. It is also a time to discover your purpose and also take steps in fulfilling your purpose. 

     

For I would that all men were even as I myself. but every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. (1 cor 7:7 KJV)

Paul in 1 Cor 7:7 celebrated his singleness. He was able to help others to grow and encourage them. It is better to discover who you really are before going into marriage. If you don't know where you are going anywhere will look like it. So before you decide to follow another person on a journey (Marriage) ensure you are both heading in the same direction.

Celebrate yourself by spending time investing in your heavenly bank account and to help others fulfill their dreams like Paul. Give yourself to the service of God. Trust me the period of marriage  is a period where you have to carter for your wife/husband/kid can be a very demanding one and your ministry is first to them. There may be little or no time to go on outreaches. Now is the time to do as much as you can. 

Here are a few things you can do to make the period of singleness a fruitful one:

1. Read Books
2. Listen to messages
3. Study the word
4. Make friends with those whose marriages you admire and learn from them
5. Go for seminars 

Well the period of singleness is quite an interesting one. Don't rush your process. God has you in mind.
