ME AND MY ATTITUDE

Dear singles,

It is my pleasure to write to you on attitude because it is what will determine whether you will get to the top or not. It is what will determine if you will be successful or not. It is also what determines if you can get the man/woman of your dream or not although this should not be a determining factor as to why you should aspire to have a good attitude. A good attitude is one to be desired at all times in you pursuit of becoming a better person and not because of what you would get in return.

There was this lady a graduate; she was going for an interview so she boarded a bus and the driver stop on the way to pick another passenger which happened to be a man, as he was entering the bus he stepped on the lady mistakenly. The lady started insulting the man but the man kept on apologising to her but she continued calling the man all sort of names, after a while she stopped. When she got to the office, where she was to be interviewed, she spoke to the receptionist and she was asked to sit down. When it was her turn, she walks into the office. Guess who she saw? She saw the man that she had been insulting in the bus sitting in the office. He was the interviewer. What do you think happened to the lady?

Most singles today, are still single because of their attitude. Many have been on the same level because their attitude has kept them there. If your certificate takes you to the top, attitude keeps you there. I know of someone who was sacked due to her attitude in the workplace. For those that are due for marriage you need the right attitude to bring the right one to you.Don’t use your bad attitude to chase him/her away. This is how you would know if your attitude needs adjustments – Can you confidently say you would love to marry yourself? If the answer is no, then you would have to work on your attitude.

Beauty can take you to the top but it cannot keep you there.If you think it will, how long do you think it will last?  The purpose of this article today is for you to have a better home and to fulfil your dreams. Attitude helps you to keep your spouse and also helps your spouse to love you.

There is still time to work on those bad attitudes that you think can be a hindrance to your success. Some Ladies will say to themselves I am very beautiful so I will get a man of my dreams. Some guys will say I am very handsome I can get any woman I want. When you get her your attitude determines whether or not if it will lead to marriage or if he/she will remain with you.

We can make up our face but we cannot make up our attitude.Don’t let your bad attitude destroy you but destroy your bad attitude.

SINGLE WITH A VISION

Dear Singles,

Today I am going to be talking to you about being single with a vision. It is very important that as a single lady/man you envision the kind of marriage that you would like to have. Some ladies go into marriage thinking my husband must cheat on me. That is a wrong mindset to have about marriage.

You need to envision the kind of children you want (godly children). You need to envision the kind of husband you would have (A godly husband). You need to envision your home (A home filled with laughter, peace and joy).  The Lord speaking to his servant in Habakkuk 2:2 said

"...Write the Vision and make it plain on tablets so that he may run who reads"

What vision do you have about marriage? While growing up did you see the men around you beat their wives and now you think your husband must also beat you. As a man did you grow up watching your mother insult your father and you think it must be the same way every woman must treat her husband. Then you thought wrong. Now is the time to have a picture of what your marriage should be like from God's word.

We would talk more on how Christ expects the husband to love the wife and how the wife is expected to reciprocate in subsequent posts. It will be nice if we have singles with visions.

Ninety percent of singles out there don't know God's divine plan for them in marriage. They don't know the kind of marriage they should have or the kind of spouse that God expects them to have. Today I charge you to spend time in God's presence so as to know the heart of the father for you! Know how much God loves you and that way you won't settle for less and you would know his perfect will when he/she shows up.
